How do children use greenscreen technology to understand what the romans did for us?
Young children intuitively know how to communicate through television and love any opportunity to work in small groups to create their own broadcasts, greenscreen is a great way to develop independent learning skills.
What is modern art? Are we all artists and are children the most visionary modern artists of all?
These and other questions kick started a project we are doing over the next few weeks exploring ‘senses’ with Year 6 children. The curriculum is alive and energised by the children leading their learning.
After just one day the children’s confidence, maturity and ability to transfer the experience into other areas of their learning has improved, and through ‘action painting’ they produced wonderful modern art too.
