The animals of Short Wood live in the beautiful woodland at the bottom of a huge hill called The Wrekin. The Wise Oak helps the animals take care of Mother Nature and their lives.
One day their peace is shattered by a rumbling, noisy giant who dreams of being a builder. He stumbles into Short Wood and makes a feeble attempt at being scary before getting showered in compost and becoming a local hero!
Our books are produced and published as part of creative learning projects with young children. They are available as free downloads and also as printed paperbacks making them great Teacher resources for your Primary School. Creating a book is a great cross curricular enrichment opportunity and often the idea becomes a platform for bigger schemes of work.
